STEP 1: Go to Lyon.edu and click on Apply

STEP 2: “Create an account”. You will receive a Temporary pin in your email.

STEP 3: Log in again and begin the application.

List of documents you will need: Passport, High school transcripts (10,11,12), English Test (IELTS, DUO, etc.), Bank Statement, and more

When you get to “Lyon Specific questions” page, you will see “If you have been recruited by an agent?“, make sure to select Dr. Samrat Thapa. You will receive lot of help from me.

STEP 4: Once you submit your application email me (DrSamratThapa@gmail.com).

STEP 5: Fill form below, and Dr. Thapa will make sure your application is processed in a timely fashion. https://forms.gle/ZBLxnfjxAeZbUpqi9

You will need letter from bank, statement from bank and you will have to complete several forms.

STEP 1: Complete the Nonimmigrant Visa Electronic Application (DS-160) form.

STEP 2: Create an profile using this link. If you already have a profile, don’t make a new one. Just log in.

STEP 3: Log in, Click on Schedule My Appointment option (on the left-hand side). Complete steps for Visa Type, Post, Visa Category and Visa Class.

STEP 4: Payment screen, click on Payment Options. Print your CGI Cash Deposit slip, and take it to your nearest NIMB branch and pay in cash (NPR 24,975, this amount might change). Save the receipt and also take picture.

STEP 5: Log In, enter your receipt number, and schedule your visa appointment date.

STEP 6: If visa appointment dates are very far away, keep checking back the site at midnight. New slots might open up.

SEVIS FEE (I-901 Fee):

You must pay a separate SEVIS fee in addition to the visa application fee. For students with Form I-20, the SEVIS fee is US$350.   Instructions for paying the SEVIS fee can be found at www.fmjfee.com .

NOC: It is a No Objection Certificate (NOC) granted by Government of Nepal for the Nepalese student to study aboard. You can apply online [Link](https://noc.moest.gov.np/)
